World’s Top 2% Scientists from UoM feted

Three Professors from University of Mysore (UoM), who have been named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University — (sitting from left) Prof. K.S. Rangappa (former VC of UoM and Professor of Organic Chemistry), Prof. K. Byrappa (former Chairman-Dept. of Earth Science, UoM and ex-VC of Mangalore University) and Prof. K. Basavaiah (retd. Professor of Chemistry Department, UoM) — were felicitated by Team Mysuru and Vision Team of Mysore at a programme held at Rani Bahadur auditorium on Hunsur Road in city on Sunday. UoM VC Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, Padma Suresh of Rani Bahadur Institute, Prof. Niranjanmurthy, Geologist M.V. Ravishankar, Team Mysuru and Vision Team of Mysore officer-bearers Gokul Govardhan, Yashvanth, Hema Nandish and others were present.
