Sir, The Oval Grounds in city is a huge lung space for many people, including young and old alike. This ground is used for holding sports meet by many educational institutions. Recently, an Educational Institutions held their Annual Athletic Meet here. After the meet was over the entire ground was littered with used plastic cups, plates etc. Now, who is responsible for cleaning up the ground after being used? Added to this, one side of the compound towards DC’s office was opened for parking during Dasara which is still to be closed making it easy for stray cattle to enter the ground and making it more filthy. Hope the authorities concerned will take cognisance of the above and act accordingly. Also, will the Educational Institutions clean the litter by holding a day’s NSS activity?
