why do we dress statues as cad

They can be covered in a better way...

Sir,

We wish to see some people alive for various reasons. So we make their statues and place them at prominent places to get a feeling that they are amongst us.

But, why do we dress their statues as though they are dead?

It is demeaning to see the statues of great people dressed like cadavers in public spaces.

We should treat the statues with due respect till they are unveiled. They can be covered in a better way till then.

These are a few at Gun House Circle, Vivekananda Circle and Vishwamanava Kuvempu Circle in city.
