welcome to metal birds

Sir, With the resumption of flights after a gap of two years from the Mandakali Airport, Mysuru, passenger aircraft have started hitting the skies of Mysuru, which is really a matter worthy of jubilation. This time, unlike the previous occasions, where air connectivity was only between Mysuru and Bengaluru which proved to be a utter flop for want to takers, indicates better chances of survival. Mysuru, being a heritage city and considered as the cultural capital of Karnataka with high tourist potentiality, is unimaginable without air connectivity. Whereas, smaller cities like Mangaluru, Hubballi and Belagavi do have this facility in Karnataka. Let us hope, the joy this time will not be short-lived as before turning out to be another mirage — appearing and disappearing again and again.
