Sir, The office of the “Urban Property Ownership Record (UPOR) under the Revenue Department, located at Nazarbad is an exceptionally good office with the entire staff “working” without wasting time. The general perception about the staff of any Government Office is that they are unfriendly, lethargic, undisciplined and demand bribe to execute our legally entitled works. But the staff and section heads of UPOR are totally different. They are all friendly, helpful and working very systematically. To get my UPOR, I did not face any issues. My papers moved to different tables systematically and no time was wasted. Public were waiting patiently to get called, as the documents moved from table to table. Nobody demanded any bribe or speed money to get the work executed smoothly. Hope other government departments will also start working like this UPOR Office.
