A trench dug up to lay Underground (UG) cable on Paramahamsa Road 1st Main about four months ago is neither covered nor asphalted. With recent rains, rain water has filled up in the trench and motorists try to move over it resulting in them suffering from injuries. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to asphalt the dug up portion for the benefit of the public.
