Trenches were dug up on Navilu Road 1st Cross in Kuvempunagar to lay new pipelines and the workers dutifully completed the works, filled the trenches but forgot to clear the leftover debris scattered on the road. This has made the road non-motorable and the residents are finding is difficult to walk or ride their vehicles. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the debris cleared at the earliest for the benefit of the public.
