MLC Raghu Kautilya (in white T-shirt) is seen launching the Chamundi Hill steps cleaning drive, organised by Sir M. Vishweshwaraiah Plumbing and Sanitary Labourers Welfare Union, Mysuru, this morning, as part of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Jayanti and Ashada Maasa.
As part of Ashada Maasa, youths of Sri Chamundeshwari Aralikatte Seva Trust recently undertook painting of the Chamundi Hill steps, which will be climbed by thousands of devotees during the season. Trust President G. Yadunandan, Shiva Nayak, Krishna, Venkatesha, Papanna, Dhanu, Madesh, Veeru, Ganesh, Auto Swamy, M.R. Nagesh and others were present on the occasion. The Trust has been giving a fresh coat of paint for steps and gopuras of the Chamundi Hill every year during Ashada for the past 6 years.
