Swachh Bharat - the Nature’s way

This particular stretch of Lakshmanatheertha River near Hunsur on the Mysuru-Bantwal Highway that was covered with water hyacinth and other weeds is now clean, thanks to strong water current that has washed the weeds off. Due to increased weed growth, the river was choked and foul smell permeated the entire area and even the local residents could not use the water.
