Sudha Chandran mesmerises rasikas

‘Natya Mayuri’ Vidushi Sudha Chandran and troupe mesmerised the audience at the inauguration of Dasara cultural programmes at Mysore Palace last evening by performing Mahishamardhini. The accomplished Bharathanatya dancer, who is also a well-known film and television actress, lost a leg due to gangrene following a road accident near Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu in 1981. She subsequently overcame her disability with the help of a prosthetic Jaipur foot and continued dancing.
