stray dog menace in saraswathi

Sir, Stray dogs in 8th Main, 6th Cross, Saraswathipuram locality, are creating havoc to the pedestrians and motorists, especially two-wheelers. In spite of repeated complaints, the authorities concerned are blindfolded. People are scared to move around in this locality, especially during night time. There are instances where the panic-stricken two-wheelers caused accidents to avoid getting bitten by the dogs. As a result they are plying in alternative routes. Once again I appeal to the authorities concerned to view this matter seriously before any untoward incidents occur and put an end to the stray dog menace in this locality. Also at this juncture I would like to suggest to the authorities, instead of killing the dogs or leaving them in a deserted place, send them to some dog welfare organisations.
