Stinking storm water drain at Vijayanagar

Foul smell is emanating from a storm water drain near the Government Women’s College, MRR Royal Locality in Vijayanagar causing inconvenience to the residents of the locality. With water becoming stagnant, the place has become a perfect place for mosquitoes to breed besides the possibilities of diseases like chikungunya and dengue being spread. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to clear the place and prevent the outbreak of diseases.
