The Women and Child Development Department, the Department for Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka, presented the State Award for the Year 2023, to “Parents’ Association of Deaf Children, Mysore” in recognition of its extraordinary services to the hearing impaired children, during World Disabled Day on Dec. 3. The award was received by B. Lohia, President of the Association. T. Bhaskar Shetty, Secretary and Ratna Shetty, Committee Member, were present on the occasion.
