Sir, The train timing display board at the top of the Railway Station main entrance is not working since three months. In spite of my repeated complaints to the Station Master and his Assistants, the repair was not done. If the display board works, last moment commuters can go through entrance undercover bypass passage which is under Adyar Ananda Bhavan in 5 minutes to their desired platforms (1 to 6) in a matter of seconds. A human life can be saved by the kind-hearted Train Guards. By seeing the running commuters they used to stop the train immediately. Kudos to the Train Guards. I request our MP and DC to take suitable action in this regard. Another problem is with the auto drivers, who park their autos in front of the Adyar Ananda Bhavan not allowing any two-wheelers to park their vehicles even for 5 to 10 minutes. If the authorities concerned make a surprise check they can act against such offenders. An old man with partial eye problem works in the first shift (5 am to 1 pm) at Chamarajapuram Railway Station near Jayanagar under bridge. He takes nearly 10 minutes to issue a season ticket. An efficient youngster should replace him immediately.
