Sir, The space around Dufferin Clock Tower, also called Chikka Gadiyara on the South of Devaraja Market, was developed a few years back into a nice social gathering place. It is a little lung space in that busy surrounding. But, what has become of it nowadays? It is getting gradually converted into another place for street hawkers. This must not happen. If needed, MCC authorities can put up barricades around the area. No vending, selling or hawking must be allowed there.
