Saree Walkathon by Women

Women sporting Mysore Silk saree and Mysore Mallige flower, danced to the tune of native drums, at the ‘Walkathon by women to portray the heritage of Mysore,’ organised by Women and Children’s Dasara Sub-Committee, taken out from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple to J.K. Grounds in city this morning. Chairperson of Karnataka State Commission for Women Dr. Nagalakshmi Chowdhary and Vice-Chairperson of State Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, also took part in the procession, dancing merrily to the music.
