Samskrutotsava held at BVB Mysuru

'Samskrutotsava' was inaugurated at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Mysuru Kendra, in Vijayanagar here this morning in the presence of (from left) BVB Sanskrit teachers Nagaraj Hedge & Srikanth, Principal S. Lekha Nair, Hon. Secretary P.S. Ganapathy, chief guest Padma Shri awardee K.S. Jayalakshmi Sampath Kumar (Editor of Sudharma Sanskrit Daily), BVB Vice-Chairman Dr. C. Naganna, Hon. Treasurer Dr. A.T. Bhashyam, Cultural Coordinator M.V. Shama, BVB Management Committee Members Dr. J.V. Gayathri and Gangadhar. A total of 273 students from 31 schools participated in five competitions — Bhagavad Gita, Ekapatrabhinaya, Samskrut Bhajan, Kathapatana and Samskrut Group Dance — organised as part of the programme.
