Sir, Despite stiff opposition and protests from the concerned citizens of Mysuru, the government has gone ahead with the straightening of the curve on Hunsur Road near Jaladarshini. But there is a more dangerous curve than this road a little after Damden Apartments towards Lakshmikanthanagar turn on the Outer Ring Road, which probably needs urgent attention by the government. Anyone who takes this stretch will agree that it will feel like a roller coaster ride if one does not slow down. Local residents may be aware and slow down but what about new road-users and tourists? There is a need for straightening this road more than any other stretch in Mysuru. If the government can go all out to straightening a curve which could have been left untouched, then they should also show concern to look for a solution for this stretch which has seen steady increase in vehicle density.
