The compound of the park at Raghavendranagar-Gururaja Layout has collapsed about 15 days ago resulting in stray cattle eating away ornamental plants at the park. Residents say that though the compound fell about two weeks ago, none of the civic officials visited the spot nor the local elected representative has taken interest to construct the same. The park lacks play equipment for the children and the present iron play equipment is rusted and broken. When parks in other wards are being developed and new gym equipment is being installed for the benefit of the residents, this park is being neglected. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to develop this park for the benefit of all.
