This is one of the many pits dug up to lay Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) on Vishwamanava Double Road, but the pit is filled only with mud causing a lot of inconvenience to motorists. With the onset of monsoon, the pit has turned into a slushy spot and the wheels of vehicles get stuck resulting in accidents. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the dug up portion asphalted at the earliest.
