Plea to cover pit at Saraswathipuram

A pit dug in Saraswathipuram 1st Main, 7th Cross, to lay Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) is not filled and also the works to lay the cable is incomplete, say the residents. This unfilled pit is posing danger to motorists, while a few pedestrians too had a narrow escape from falling into it. This is the condition since a couple of weeks and residents have urged the authorities concerned to take necessary action before any serious accidents take place.
