Plea to cover drain on Ashoka Road cross

Stone slabs which have been removed from the drain on the Ashoka Road cross, leading to K.R. Hospital near Tholasi Jewellers, is causing a lot of inconvenience to the public, especially pedestrians. As the place has insufficient lighting, a pedestrian fell into it and sustained severe injuries, said a resident. The public have urged the authorities concerned to get the drain covered at the earliest.
