Plea to clear weeds grown inside drain at Vijayanagar

Overgrown weeds inside a box drain at 23rd Cross in Vijayanagar 2nd Stage is not cleared which is resulting in insects and reptiles making it their shelter and forcing residents to live in a sense of fear. Residents alleged that though the problem was brought to the notice of the officials concerned several times since past two years, no action has been taken till date. The residents have once again urged the officials concerned to take steps to get the weeds cleared from the drain at the earliest.
