Plea to clear mud from drains on Theobald Road, Nazarbad

CESC workers, who dug trenches to lay cables at Lingaiah Colony on Theobald Road in Nazarbad, have dumped the mud inside drains and have not cleared it despite the works getting over 20 days ago. Residents said that when they asked the MCC officials to get the drain cleaned, they simply washed their hands by saying that it’s not their work but the work of CESC as they had dumped the mud. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the drain cleaned at the earliest.
