Plea to clean drain at Bannimantap ‘C’ Layout

Dry leaves and mud accumulated inside a drain at KSRTC Colony in Bannimantap ‘C’ Layout is causing a lot of problems to the residents. They have alleged that foul smell is emanating from the drain due to decaying leaves and mosquitoes have increased in the vicinity as the drain has become perfect place for them to breed with stagnant water. The residents said that though complaints have been given, no action has been taken so far and have urged the authorities concerned to get the drain cleaned at the earliest.
