Sewage water is overflowing from a damaged manhole on the 2nd Cross, near Masjid -E- Bilal in KHB Colony, Udayagiri, causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents. Despite giving a complaint (No.1923) about seven months back to the MCC and even to the area Corporator, no action has been taken till date. With sewage water getting stagnant, residents fear outbreak of dengue or malaria due to increase in mosquitoes in the surrounding areas. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the damaged manhole repaired at the earliest.
