Plea to get clogged drain cleaned in Kuvempunagar

Water which has become stagnant in a drain on 5th Cross, K-Block in Kuvempunagar has resulted in foul smell emanating from it besides increase in mosquitoes in the surrounding. Residents said that water is getting into the drain from a broken water pipeline nearby since six months. Authorities concerned are urged to plug the leakage and take steps to get the drain cleaned at the earliest.
