Residents have urged the civic authorities to get the manhole cleaned in Hootagalli as sewage water is overflowing from it and is becoming stagnant on the road, resulting in unbearable stench emanating from it since about 15 days. Residents said that apart from the stench, mosquitoes have also increased in the surroundings and have urged the authorities to take action at the earliest.
