A Banyan plant is growing on the bridge on M.G. Road leading to Nanjangud which will pose danger to the bridge as the roots of the plants go deep, thus weakening the structure besides posing danger to motorists, who travel on the bridge daily. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the plant removed and maintain the bridge periodically.
