Pathetic condition of the road in Metagalli

The 2C Main Road in Metagalli, which was dug up to lay UGD pipes sometime back, is not asphalted and is in a pathetic condition now as most of the asphalt has come off exposing the earth beneath it. During rains, water gets stagnant on the road and it is difficult to make out the road resulting in numerous two-wheeler riders falling down and sustaining injuries. Residents alleged that though numerous complaints were given and representations made, no action has been taken till now to repair the road. Authorities concerned are urged to initiate steps to repair the road at the earliest.
