Almost all roads in Bannimantap Industrial Area ‘A’ Layout is in a pathetic condition and the elected representatives have turned a blind eye towards it, allege industrialists and residents of the locality. Industrialists say that though the issue pertaining to the need for good roads were brought to the notice of local elected representatives many times, no action has been taken till date despite being tax payers. They said that the problem worsens during rainy season as the so called roads turn into slush and the wheels of vehicles transporting various goods get stuck causing problems in transporting the goods on time. They have urged the authorities concerned to take steps to get the roads repaired and provide this basic facility to the tax payers.
