Overflowing manhole causing problems at Vijayanagar

Sewage water overflowing from a clogged manhole on the 1st Main, 80ft. Road, A1 Block in Vijayanagar 3rd Stage, is getting stagnant at a distance resulting in foul smell emanating from it. Residents said that the stagnant sewage water has become a perfect place for mosquitoes to breed which has resulted in people falling sick due to mosquito bites. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the manhole repaired at the earliest.
