Open manholes in Vijayanagar 4th Stage is posing danger to the residents especially pedestrians walking on the roads. This apart, sewage water is overflowing from the manhole resulting in foul smell and also there has been increase in mosquitoes in the surroundings. Authorities concerned are urged to take appropriate actions in covering the open manholes and arrange to check the manholes at regular intervals so that the pedestrians can walk freely through the road at night and during rains.
