Civic workers, who had opened the manhole cover to clean it about 15 days ago, have left it open which is posing danger to many including motorists as the manhole is very near to the road and there are risks of motorists getting injured in darkness. As the manhole is not covered, jelly stones have fallen inside it and plants are growing from inside the manhole as seen in the picture (circled in red). Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the manhole covered.
