The trench dug up to lay new UGD pipeline near the 26th Cross of the 4th Main Road in Vidyaranyapuram nine months ago has been covered but is not asphalted causing problems to the public, especially motorists. Small jelly stones are getting scattered on the road and dust particles are spreading in the air as vehicles pass by. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the dug up portion of the road asphalted at the earliest for the benefit of public.
