'Fit India Youth Club’ was launched on Aug. 15 by Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, as part of 'Fit India Freedom Run.' 14 Karnataka Bn NCC of Mysuru Group conducted a Cycle Rally on Aug.29 in Mysuru. The rally comprised NCC Cadets from various Colleges of Mysuru with an aim to undertake activities for their own health and well-being and also inculcate awareness among fellow Indians. This Fit India Movement is a development towards taking the nation on a path of fitness and wellness both mentally and physically. Present on the occasion were Commanding Officer Col. Manish Prasad, Administrative Officer Lt. Col. Roshan Appanna, Sub Maj. Govindappa Bariker and ANOs, Dr. H.N. Shashidhar, MMHS and Lt. Dr. Vinay Kumar of JSS College, Ooty Road.
