Work on the flyover at Bandipalya Outer Ring Road (ORR) junction on Mysuru-Nanjangud Highway (NH-766) has gathered pace. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has approved the extension of the flyover beyond the ORR junction towards Nanjangud Road, with the additional stretch to be taken up in the second phase. Once completed, the flyover will be about 550 metres long with spans of 9×25 metres and 1×15 metres. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 57.3 crore.
