The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has featured Mysuru in its 2018 calendar. There is a big image of the magnificent Mysore Palace and two small photos featuring the Mysore Airport at Mandakalli in the October month of the calendar. Incidentally, the world famous Dasara festival is also held during October. According to Mysuru Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, of the 126 AAI airports, Mysuru has been featured this year and it is a matter of pride for all Mysureans.
