MLA inaugurates State-level Athletics Meet for PU students

MLA S.A. Ramdas, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, University of Mysore Department of Physical Education Director (in-Charge) Dr. P.  Krishnaiah,  DDPU Dr. Dayananda, Vijaya Vittala Educational Institutions Chairman R. Guru, Secretary R. Vasudev Bhat are seen receiving the Sports Torch from the participating athletes during the inauguration of  the four-day State-level Athletic Meet at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city on Friday. As many as 2,500 students representing Dakshina Kananda, Bagalkote, Belagavi, Ballari, Bengaluru city, Bengaluru Rural, Bidar, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chikamagaluru, Chikkodi, Chitradurga, Mysuru, Hassan, Dharwad, Mandya, Kodagu are taking part in the Meet jointly organised by the Department of Pre-University Education, Mysuru and Vijaya Vittala PU College.
