mcc not attending to complaint

Sir, Our street lights were mostly not functioning throughout the year. This time I thought of contacting MCC and get a solution. I went online to MCC website and got a mobile number to which a WhatsApp message could be sent describing the problem being faced. The mobile number I got is: 82777-77728. I sent a message (on 20.2.2018) via WhatsApp saying that our street lights are not working and requested to fix it. Surprisingly, after four days (24.2.2018), I got a reply asking me to provide certain details such as District, Municipal, Name, Address, Mobile No., and Complaint details. I filled all the details and sent back via WhatsApp. On the same day I got a reply that “Your complaint has been registered”. I was very happy that the street lights problem may be fixed by the MCC very soon. But even after 12 days nothing happened. Again I sent another message (8.3.2018) via WhatsApp reminding that the problem is not yet fixed. After that I have not received any response from MCC. As a tax-payer, I want to know why does MCC provide, on their official website, a mobile number to report grievances and never attend to it? In such cases, what is the escalation process to higher ups? I hope MCC looks into this and attend to all the complaints at the earliest.
