Apropos our PM Narendra Modi’s Mann ki Baat programme, we have been facilitating people listen to the talk by arranging big speakers, chairs to sit and erecting shamiana in public places. For two consecutive times previously, while listening to Mann ki Baat we faced a common problem — thanks to power cut by CESC. Through this column I request the CESC officials not to cut power from 10.30 am to 12 noon on such days as we all want to listen to Modi on the Radio. The talk is aired on every last Sunday of the month. As we can’t afford to rent a generator, I, on behalf of a large number of Modi admirers, request CESC to encourage us by not resorting to load-shedding when Mann ki Baat is broadcast on AIR.
