Madikeri MLA offers Bagina at Harangi

Madikeri MLA Appachu Ranjan yesterday offered Bagina to River Cauvery at Harangi Reservoir in Kushalnagar, Kodagu, which reached its maximum level on July 23, 2017. Harangi is the only reservoir which has reached its maximum capacity of 2,859.00 feet in the Cauvery basin during the South-West Monsoon this year. Today’s level stood at 2,858.41 ft. Meanwhile, the water level at KRS today stood at 90.38 ft (Max.124.80 ft.) and Kabini at 2270.40 yesterday (Max.2,284.00 ft.)
