Lack of stalls disappoint visitors to Mango Mela

Organic farmer Veerappashetty of Srinivasapura taluk in Kolar, seen selling the organic mangoes grown by him at the two-day Organic Mango Mela, organised at Karnataka Institute of Agricultural Marketing on Hunsur Road in city. Veerappashetty has brought three tonnes of mangoes from his place to the Mela. Meanwhile, visitors to the Mela expressed disappointment as the organisers had set up only one stall in the Mela venue besides alleging that the mangoes being sold there were costly. The Mango Mela will conclude tomorrow.
