Kuvempunagar bus stand complex (a 3-storey building) built under Centre’s JNNURM scheme was inaugurated on 9.4.2011. Since then, the huge complex is lying idle except transit bus stop-over. The property could earn lot of revenue by giving it on rent to banks, offices and shops. Also, the building maintenance will cost a lot to KSRTC causing unnecessary loss to the Corporation. Hope, the KSRTC will wake up and generate revenue out of the huge complex.
