Nissar Ahmed, a thermocol artist and expert in mirror writing, was conferred with ‘Karunada Ratna’ award during the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations organised by Karnataka Kala Samskrutika Pratishthana (Siddhalingeshwara Layout, J.P. Nagar, Mysuru), at Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Bhavan in JSS Hospital premises in city recently. Nissar Ahmed recently completed biography of Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi in Kannada in mirror writing style and has also created new thermocol works that include Shiva and many other deities.
