The award was given in recognition of Rajagopalaiah’s outstanding contribution in the field of Technology & Management, towards society and the country at large. The honour and title were conferred on him by Prof. Dr. Sir G.D. Singh, Founder and President, CIAC, Prof. Dr. Sir Lakshman Madurasinghe, Director General, WPDO (World Peace and Diplomacy Organisation) and President, YSU and Sir Dr. Roland Yakoubow, Founder-Director, Bioenergy Healing Institute, California, USA.
