Sir, The Bogadi Road leading to Manasagangothri where Kuvempu Statue is erected is badly in need of a speed-breaker. Some motorists, especially two-wheelers, are driving at a rattling speed on this stretch. This in turn may cause serious accidents, especially to the motorists coming in opposite direction. Also there is no divider on this stretch. Accidents may prove fatal if there is no coordination between the vehicles coming in the opposite directions. In fact I had written on earlier occasions also to provide a divider on this stretch but till today the authorities concerned have not responded. This is a very serious matter especially during peak hours when the University students and office-goers are plying in this stretch. Once again I appeal to the authorities to provide a divider and a speed-breaker before any untoward incidents occur on this stretch.
