The drain works undertaken near Tipu Masjid at Bannimantap has come to a standstill since two weeks resulting in rainwater getting stagnant. This has resulted in increase in mosquitoes in the surroundings and people falling sick due to mosquito bites. Authorities concerned are urged to complete the drain works at the earliest for the benefit of all.
