Sir, It is good to see that many roads in and around Mysuru are getting upgraded to double roads. But such good roads have badly maintained meridians because of the growth of wild plants and due to apathy of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) engineers. With transparent and corruption free approach, the MCC can yield additional income by offering these meridians for advertisement boards through e-tender. By doing so, apart from giving a facelift to the roads and the meridians, the free and dangerous movement of the pedestrians can also be curtailed. And MCC can easily augment its income without any additional expense or investment.
