Kalale Keshavamurthy and Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad took oath as MLAs from Nanjangud and Gundlupet Assembly constituencies respectively, which they won in the recently held by-elections, defeating BJP candidates. The oath of office and secrecy were administered to them by Speaker K.B. Koliwad this morning at the Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha in the presence of Chief Minister Siddharamaiah. While Kalale Keshavamurthy took oath in the name of Lord Srikanteshwara, Geetha took oath in the name of Lord Male Mahadeshwara.
